Elon Musk's social media company formerly known as Twitter has filed a lawsuit against liberal advocacy group Media Matters for America, accusing it of manufacturing a report to drive advertisers away from the platform. Advertisers have been leaving the platform due to concerns about their ads appearing next to pro-Nazi and hate speech content. IBM, NBCUniversal, and Comcast have already stopped advertising on the platform. X, the social media company, claims that Media Matters manipulated algorithms to create false impressions of ads next to racist content. Media Matters has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
