Police arrest sister of Hamas leader Haniyeh in southern Israel raid

A sister of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has been arrested in southern Israel on suspicion of contact with operatives from the terror group and supporting acts of terror. The suspect, Sabah Avad al-Salam Haniyeh, an Israeli citizen, was accused of 'serious security offenses' and evidence reportedly showed support for the terror group's October 7 massacre. During a raid on the suspect's home, police found documents, media, telephones, and other evidence linking her to the offenses. The arrest comes amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
