The Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims held a national event to honor the efforts of 3,500 volunteers who support Holocaust survivors in Israel. A recent survey revealed that many survivors live alone and feel lonely, requiring assistance to go outside. The foundation currently has 3,500 volunteers who provide ongoing support and assistance to improve the quality of life for survivors. The event featured a performance by comedian Reshef Levi.
