Iran-backed Iraqi militias have warned the US against any hostile action against Iran, stating that American interests in the region will be at risk. The Coordination Committee for the Iraqi Resistance also cautioned Israel against using Iraqi airspace for retaliation against Iran. The group stated that all American bases and interests in Iraq and the region would be targeted if Israel takes such action. Iran-backed militias frequently target US bases in Iraq and Syria in response to Washington's support for Israel in conflicts with Hamas and Hezbollah.
