Hans Grundberg, the United Nation's special envoy for war-torn Yemen, arrived in the rebel-held capital to push for peace talks and urge for concrete actions in advancing the peace process. Yemen has been at war since 2014, and tensions have surged during the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Grundberg's visit also aims to support the release of arbitrarily detained UN, NGO, civil society, and diplomatic mission personnel.
