The government conducted an urgent late-night telephone vote to approve last-minute changes to the list of Palestinian prisoners set for release in exchange for hostages. Two prisoners were removed from the list after being found ineligible, and two others affiliated with Hamas were added in their place. Additional adjustments included replacing seven minors with seven other Gazans, among them two women. These changes come just hours before the scheduled prisoner release.
