Austrian Airlines will restart flights to Tehran after nearly five months of suspension following the conflict between Israel and Iran. The first flight is scheduled to depart on Sunday evening, with the airline emphasizing that safety remains its top priority as it continues to monitor the situation in the region. German airline Lufthansa also plans to resume its Tehran flights from December, though it has not yet set a specific date. Both airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, had halted their services to Iran in June along with several other carriers due to security concerns arising from the conflict.
