Israeli military forces stationed in the Rafah area of the Gaza Strip have been actively working to dismantle a significant tunnel network since the recent ceasefire. The Nahal Brigade, operating under the Gaza Division, discovered a multiple rocket launcher with fifteen barrels and additional military equipment believed to belong to Hamas.

Troops continue to destroy underground tunnels that are used by militants to move and operate against Israeli forces. The military reports that during these operations, there have been several encounters with Hamas operatives emerging from tunnels, resulting in exchanges of fire. In two recent incidents, three Israeli soldiers lost their lives.
