Police in southern Israel have detained a man suspected of stabbing a 32-year-old in Lod earlier today. Following a report of the incident, officers launched a manhunt and apprehended the suspect near Dimona as he attempted to flee. The victim was found conscious but seriously wounded and was transported to Shamir Medical Center for treatment. Authorities say the suspect is now in custody and will face a remand hearing in court tomorrow.
