Uttar Pradesh is set to participate as a partner state in the upcoming India International Trade Fair 2025, taking place in New Delhi from November 14 to 27. The state will showcase its 'Local to Global' strategy, which aims to transform traditional craftsmanship into products for international markets. Over 2,750 exhibitors from Uttar Pradesh will present a diverse range of goods, including handloom textiles, carpets, sports equipment, leather goods, and glassware, with a special focus on upgraded packaging and sustainable production.
The event will also feature more than 150 startups and women-led enterprises, highlighting the state's commitment to innovation and women's economic empowerment. These participants will display a mix of technology-driven solutions, handmade crafts, and agro-based products. A series of business meetings, seminars, and digital showrooms are planned to connect local producers with global buyers, investors, and trade representatives, aiming to boost exports and create new employment opportunities.
