Four residents of Beit Safafa in East Jerusalem have been arrested on charges of affiliation with the Islamic State and planning attacks against Jewish Israelis, according to Israeli authorities. The suspects, all in their twenties, allegedly acquired military equipment and weapons in preparation for what they described as a 'great war of the end of days.' During interrogations, officials reported that the group consumed large amounts of extremist content online and expressed intentions to target Jews and non-Muslims. Indictments are expected soon for two of the suspects, while investigations continue for the others. This case follows a series of similar arrests in recent months involving individuals accused of plotting attacks inspired by the Islamic State.
