Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the family of Ran Gvili, one of the last two slain Israeli hostages whose body remains in Gaza. During the meeting, Netanyahu shared details about ongoing efforts to return Gvili's body for burial in Israel and praised the family's resilience and national pride. Gvili, a police counter-terror unit member, was killed while defending Kibbutz Alumim on October 7, and his body was taken by militants.
Netanyahu also met with the ambassador of Thailand to discuss efforts to repatriate the body of Sudthisak Rinthalak, a Thai worker killed during the same attack, whose remains are also still held in Gaza. Both meetings included the government's hostage affairs coordinator.
