Palestinian photojournalist Mohammad Wadi was killed in an Israeli drone strike east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza while documenting the ongoing conflict. Wadi, previously a wedding photographer, became the second media worker reported killed in Gaza since the ceasefire took effect in October. The attack also wounded another journalist, Mohammed Abdel Fattah Aslih, and occurred amid continued violence in the region, with additional fatalities reported in separate incidents. Fellow journalists have highlighted the ongoing dangers faced by media workers in Gaza, despite the declared ceasefire, and international organizations have condemned the targeting of civilians and journalists.
