The UAE's Tawazun Council signed deals worth $1.2 billion on the first day of the Dubai Airshow. The agreements include domestic contracts totaling 2.7 billion dirhams and international contracts amounting to 2 billion dirhams. The deals cover various areas such as ammunition procurement, technical aircraft support, aircraft engines and parts, and aircraft spare parts. In addition, Middle East carriers Emirates and flydubai announced new aircraft orders from Boeing, with Emirates committing to an additional 95 wide-body aircraft worth $52 billion.
