The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah launched a series of missile attacks on Israeli army outposts on Lebanon's southern border, causing direct casualties. In response, Israel shelled areas in southern Lebanon and conducted airstrikes on villages near the border. The attacks are part of a series of confrontations that have been taking place since October 8. Meanwhile, Lebanese news anchor Layal Alekhtiar has been issued a warrant following a complaint filed by Hezbollah after she interviewed an IDF spokesperson. Alekhtiar has described the warrant as a 'blatant political prosecution' and has received support from two Lebanese parties.
