The practice of wearing face coverings has become endemic in society, with protesters, criminals, and anti-Semites using masks to hide their identities. This has made it difficult for law enforcement to identify and apprehend individuals involved in crimes. The use of masks has become particularly prevalent among pro-Palestine marchers, with the keffiyeh scarf, a symbol of Palestinian nationalism, being a popular accessory. Masks have also been used by shoplifters, moped thieves, muggers, and drug dealers to evade detection. The article argues that masks should be banned at protests and in stores to address this issue.
