Thousands of protesters rallied across Europe calling for a cease-fire in Gaza and an end to the violence. Protests have been ongoing since the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. In France, several thousand people marched through central Paris, while hundreds turned out in Marseille and Toulouse. In Geneva, around 4,000 people marched in front of the United Nations' European headquarters. Two rallies were held in Amsterdam, and several thousand marched in Lisbon. In Warsaw, a few hundred people marched in front of Israel's embassy. In Istanbul, about 100 people held a rally outside the Israeli consulate. In Britain, smaller protests were held after a large pro-Palestinian march in London the previous week.
