The H.M.S. Prince of Wales, the Royal Navy's newest aircraft carrier, is training with American aircrews off the eastern seaboard of the U.S. The carrier is working with U.S. forces to extend their range and capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region. The ship has been conducting tests with Marine V-22 Ospreys and F-35 fighter jets, including the first 'rolling' landings by the F-35s. The Prince of Wales will soon take over from its sister ship, H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth, as Britain's 'very high readiness' carrier and is expected to lead a carrier strike deployment into the region in the future.
