Saudi Arabia has become a key hub for green energy, playing a crucial role in the growth of renewable and clean energy both within the Kingdom and beyond. The country has advanced infrastructure, increasing investments in renewable infrastructure, robust demand, and strategic significance. Saudi Arabia is strengthening its decarbonization and clean energy collaborations and investments, particularly in Asian countries. It has sealed significant deals with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to expand energy corridors across the region. The Kingdom is also working with South Korea on infrastructure and energy technology exports. Saudi Arabia has invested billions in developing high-tech innovation hubs and has 13 renewable energy projects under development, including the world's largest green hydrogen production facility. The country is facilitating environmentally friendly corridors to connect Europe and Asia. Saudi Arabia's efforts to combat climate change and advance green energy are anchored in its Vision 2030, which aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2060.
