A British astronaut could walk on the surface of the moon as early as 2025, according to NASA. The space agency has expressed that it is 'incredibly possible' for a Brit to be part of the Artemis III mission, which aims to bring humans back to the moon's surface for the first time in over 50 years. Currently, all 12 people who have walked on the moon have been American. The UK Science Secretary, Michelle Donelan, believes it is only a matter of time until a British person sets foot on the moon and even suggested UK astronauts should be involved in future Mars missions.
