A new law passed in Knesset allows any licensed doctor to determine degrees of disability for people wounded in terrorist attacks, easing the load on the system. Previously, only approved doctors could make the assessment, but since October 7, they have been overloaded with patients. The law also amended the financial aid plan to consider employees on furlough as still having insurance. Likud MK Nissim Vaturi was sanctioned by the Ethics Committee for calling two Arab MKs 'Hamas collaborators' and supporters of terrorism.
