Salazar addressed the issue, stating that her staffer posted the comments to her personal, locked social media account without her knowledge. Salazar is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and has called for a ceasefire, criticized Israeli strikes on Gaza, condemned the Hamas attack, and demanded the release of hostages held by Hamas.
