Israel unveils tunnels underneath Gaza City headquarters of UN...

The Israeli military has uncovered tunnels underneath the main headquarters of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza City, accusing Hamas militants of using the space as an electrical supply room. Israel has accused the agency of collaborating with Hamas, leading to major donor states suspending their funding and twin investigations. The army invited journalists to view the tunnel, which did not definitively prove that Hamas militants operated in the tunnels underneath the UNWRA facility, but did show that at least a portion of the tunnel ran underneath the facility's courtyard. The headquarters are now completely decimated and the military claims that the room they discovered served as a hub powering tunnel infrastructure in the area.
