Second US company prepares to make Moon history after Peregrine´s...

The Nova-C Odysseus lander, built by Texas-based space flight company Intuitive Machines (IM), is preparing for its week-long journey to the Moon. If successful, it could become the first private mission to land intact on the lunar surface and the first US Moon landing in over 50 years. The launch window opens on February 14, and the spacecraft will blast off on board SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. The lander is part of Nasa's Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative and will attempt a lunar landing on February 22.
