Hamas has arrested between six to ten Palestinian Authority security officers in the Gaza Strip on charges of collaborating with Israel's Shin Bet and the IDF. The officers were apprehended after entering Gaza through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt during a mission to secure humanitarian aid truck convoys. Hamas claims that the PA General Intelligence Service leader, Majed Faraj, was using the mission as a guise to create confusion and chaos. The Palestinian Authority has responded to the arrests, stating that the claims are baseless and that they will continue to provide relief to the people of Gaza.
