IDF troops have uncovered and destroyed an underground attack tunnel route in the Beit Lahia area of northern Gaza. The tunnel, which was over a kilometer long, contained a transportation rail and was used by Hamas to carry out terror activities against Israeli troops. The IDF has been actively working to destroy Hamas's subterranean networks throughout the Israel-Hamas war, with recent operations focusing on southern and central Gaza. By the end of August, the IDF had demolished 80% of Hamas's tunnels in the Rafah area.
