The latest IDF military operation in the northern West Bank, 'Summer Camps,' has targeted the city of Jenin specifically. The operation has resulted in the displacement of residents, destruction of buildings, and limited access to water. Former Jenin governor, Dr. Colonel (Res.) Moshe Elad, believes that while the operation may reduce the number of individuals involved in terrorist activities, it will not eliminate the ideology. There is still cooperation between the IDF and Palestinian security forces to combat terrorist threats.
