The Ya'ar Ramot synagogue in Jerusalem is facing efforts from ultra-Orthodox groups to shut it down and take over the premises. The congregation has been a beacon of light in the community for over 30 years, conducting communal activities and serving society. Recent attempts to petition the Jerusalem Municipality to cede the property to ultra-Orthodox groups have been unsuccessful. Anonymous pamphlets were distributed calling for a prayer gathering outside the synagogue to acquire the house of worship. A small group of men have been gathering for prayers on the sidewalk adjacent to the synagogue and have forcibly entered the premises. The congregation's leaders are standing firm and continuing to serve the community.
