A 27-year-old man has been arrested in north London for allegedly supporting Hamas during a protest. The suspect was seen shouting through a megaphone at a pro-Palestine demonstration in Swiss Cottage. He was initially arrested for inciting racial hatred and later arrested for inviting support for a proscribed organization under the Terrorism Act 2000. The UK government has designated Hamas as a terrorist organization.
