Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Hezbollah cannot stand alone against Israel, which carried out its deadliest day of air strikes on Lebanon since 2006. He called on the international community to prevent Lebanon from becoming another Gaza. Over 550 people, including 50 children, were killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon. Pezeshkian denounced the United Nations' inaction against Israel and expressed concern about the spread of the conflict in the Middle East. He accused Israel of warmongering and stated that Iran will not allow its security and territorial integrity to be threatened.
