The Sri City plant of Mondelez, the maker of Cadbury chocolates, is set to become one of the company's largest chocolate production plants in the world after a Rs 1,600 crore expansion. The plant, located in Andhra Pradesh, is already the company's biggest manufacturing facility in the Asia, Middle East, and African region. The expansion will allow for the addition of more variants to the facility's production. Currently, the Sri City plant produces eight variants of Cadbury chocolates and contributes 3/4th of Cadbury Dairy Milk demand in India.
