Hassan Nasrallah is the leader of Hezbollah, a powerful military force and political player in Lebanon. He grew up in Beirut and joined the Amal movement during the civil war. Nasrallah later formed the group Islamic Amal, which received support from Iran's Revolutionary Guards and eventually became Hezbollah. He became the leader of Hezbollah in 1992 and has since led the organization through conflicts with Israel and the expansion of its influence in Lebanese politics. Nasrallah has survived assassination attempts and remains a prominent figure in the region.
