Brits in Lebanon are being urged to leave immediately as Israeli forces begin their invasion of the country. The UK Government has chartered a flight out of Lebanon for Britons wanting to leave, and Foreign Secretary David Lammy described the situation as 'volatile' and with the 'potential to deteriorate quickly'. The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) has announced that it has begun limited, localised and targeted ground raids in southern Lebanon. British nationals and their families are eligible for the UK flight, and those who are vulnerable will be prioritised.
