Three die in overcrowding outside Gaza bakery amid food shortage

Two children and a woman were crushed to death in a crowd outside a bakery in Gaza as people pushed to get bread amid a worsening food crisis. The flow of food into Gaza has fallen to nearly its lowest level in the past two months, causing hunger and desperation to grow among the population. Many bakeries in Gaza were closed last week due to a shortage of flour, leading to large crowds and chaos when they reopened. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, thousands of displaced people are returning to their homes after a ceasefire was announced between Israel and Hezbollah, but the ceasefire does not address the devastating war in Gaza.
