There will be a 'highly visible' police presence in London this weekend as a pro-Palestine march and counter-protest clash with Christmas festivities. The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) will march from Park Lane to Whitehall, while counter-protesters from Stop the Hate will gather on Coventry Street. The Metropolitan Police has warned that expressing support for proscribed terror organisations, including Hamas and Hezbollah, is a criminal offence. The police expect the weekend to be busy with Christmas shopping and Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park nearby.
