On October 7, nurse and paramedic Itzik Kara, along with three other volunteers from United Hatzalah, risked their lives to rescue wounded individuals during the conflict between Hamas and the police in Sderot, Israel. Despite the dangerous conditions and constant rocket fire, Kara and his team drove along the treacherous 'Road of Death' to provide medical assistance to those in need. They treated soldiers with head wounds and transported them to nearby medical centers. Despite the dangers they faced, Kara and his team were able to save lives and none of them were injured in the process.
