Greece has signed a deal with France to purchase 16 anti-ship missiles in an effort to strengthen its defense capabilities amid tensions with Turkey. The agreement was signed by Greece's Defense Minister Nikos Dendias and his French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu. The cost of the deal was not disclosed. This purchase is part of Greece's larger modernization drive, which includes the procurement of military equipment from France, Israel, and the United States.
