A civil court in Turin, Italy has ruled admissible a class action suit against Stellantis over potentially faulty airbags made by Takata. Vehicle owners have 150 days to join the class action, with a court hearing adjourned to November 21. Similar legal actions have been launched in France. Stellantis is working on its recall campaign and reserves the right to consider appropriate initiatives in the ongoing proceedings. The requested compensation could amount to up to 285 million euros.
