'We must work against terrible forces´: Holocaust survivor marks...

A Holocaust survivor has said it is 'up to us to guard against' a repetition of the Second World War atrocity, 80 years after the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Mala Tribich, who was deported to the camp when she was around 14 years old, emphasized the importance of learning from the past and working against the 'terrible forces' that can lead to such atrocities. She expressed hope that people have learned the lessons from the Holocaust and that nothing like it will ever happen again. Tribich also highlighted the need to take action against antisemitism, which continues to persist in society.
