Roei Shalev, a survivor of the October 7 attacks at Nova Festival, has been found dead nearly two years after his girlfriend, Mapal Adam, was killed during the same incident. The couple, along with a friend, were caught in the attack by Hamas gunmen, resulting in the deaths of Adam and their friend, while Shalev survived with gunshot wounds. In the aftermath, Shalev also lost his mother, who took her own life a week later. Shalev had spoken publicly about his struggles with trauma and loss following the attack. Authorities have launched an investigation into his death after his body was discovered in a burning car near Poleg Beach in Netanya, Israel.
