Over 7,000 Lone Soldiers, including new immigrants and native-born Israelis without immediate family support, are drafted into the Israeli military each year. To honor their service, the Lone Soldier Center hosted its annual Lone Soldier Appreciation Week, highlighted by a special event in Tel Aviv that provided a wide range of services and support. More than 4,000 participants attended, accessing on-site assistance from dozens of organizations, including help with driver's licenses, legal matters, housing, and employment. The event underscored the nation's deep gratitude and commitment to easing the challenges faced by these dedicated soldiers, ensuring they know they are never alone.
