Harvard University has hired Elom Tettey-Tamaklo, a Divinity School graduate who was previously charged with assaulting an Israeli student during a campus protest in October 2023. Tettey-Tamaklo, who now serves as a graduate teaching fellow advising faculty on curriculum design, had his case dismissed after completing court-ordered anger management, a negotiation course, and community service. Despite the controversy and calls from federal officials for disciplinary action, Harvard allowed Tettey-Tamaklo to continue his studies and later appointed him to the new role.
