Indian defence companies Hindustan Aeronautics, Bharat Electronics, and Mazagon Docks have maintained their positions among the world's top 100 arms producers, according to a new report. Despite their inclusion, these three firms collectively contributed only 1.1% to global arms sales in the past year. The report highlights that global arms revenues surged by 5.9% to a record 679 billion dollars, driven by ongoing conflicts and rising military spending. The rankings are led by companies from the United States and China, with Hindustan Aeronautics, Bharat Electronics, and Mazagon Docks ranked 44th, 58th, and 91st respectively, showing an overall sales increase of 8.2%.
