Masked vandals targeted the Beit Michael Synagogue in Rome's Monteverde neighborhood, defacing its walls with graffiti including the phrase 'Free Palestine.' The attackers also desecrated a memorial plaque dedicated to Stefano Gaj Taché, a two-year-old Jewish boy who was killed in a 1982 attack. The incident has been widely condemned by Italian officials and Jewish leaders, who described it as an antisemitic act. Authorities are investigating the vandalism and have pledged to bring those responsible to justice.
