Almog Armouza, a 25-year-old visitor from Gedera, was violently assaulted in Kathmandu by a group of locals while on his way to a hostel. Armouza recounted being struck in the head with an iron club after the attackers overheard him speaking Hebrew. Despite sustaining serious injuries and heavy bleeding, he managed to escape and reach safety at the hostel, after which he was hospitalized and received medical treatment. Local authorities are investigating the incident, with suspicions that the attack may have been motivated by nationalist sentiments. Security footage from the area is expected to aid in identifying the assailants.
