A protest by radical haredi demonstrators at the Geha Junction near Bnei Brak turned violent on Monday when a car sped through the crowd, striking a 16-year-old protester. Emergency medical teams arrived quickly and found the teenager conscious but suffering from injuries to his head, limbs, abdomen, pelvis, and lower extremities. He received initial treatment at the scene before being evacuated in moderate condition to Schneider Medical Center in Petah Tikva. The driver fled the scene, and the incident has raised concerns about the safety of public demonstrations and the risks faced by participants.
