An 11-month-old infant has died from complications related to measles, marking the twelfth fatality among unvaccinated infants since the current outbreak began. The child, who had no preexisting conditions, was transferred to a hospital in Haifa and placed on advanced life support, but ultimately did not survive. Health authorities stress that all fatal cases have involved healthy, unvaccinated infants, and are urging parents to follow the recommended vaccination schedule. In response to the ongoing outbreak, the Ministry of Health is advising earlier vaccination in affected areas and cautioning against attending mass gatherings for those who are not vaccinated. Special vaccination centers have been set up in cities experiencing outbreaks, with vaccines available without the need for an appointment.
