Israel Police uncovered a significant weapons cache inside a vehicle parked near a residential area in Rosh Pina on Saturday morning. The discovery included shoulder-fired missiles, explosive materials, a machine gun, rifles, pistols, grenades, and large quantities of ammunition. The incident began when officer Yariv Bochnik, out walking his dog, noticed suspicious details about the vehicle and alerted authorities. Police sealed off the area, called in bomb disposal units, and found that much of the weaponry had likely been stolen from military stores. Officers stated that the alertness of the patrol likely prevented a major tragedy, as the vehicle could have exploded if started. An investigation is underway, and police emphasized their ongoing efforts to combat illegal weapons and safeguard public security.
