Eva Schloss, the stepsister of Anne Frank and a survivor of Auschwitz, has died in London at the age of 96. Born in Vienna, Schloss and her family fled Nazi persecution, eventually hiding in Amsterdam before being betrayed and sent to concentration camps. She and her mother survived Auschwitz, while her father and brother perished. After the war, her mother married Otto Frank, making Eva Anne Frank's stepsister.

Schloss later moved to London, where she became a leading voice in Holocaust education, co-founding the Anne Frank Trust UK and dedicating her life to combating hatred and prejudice. Her efforts were recognized with several honors, including the Medal for Services to the Republic of Austria. She is remembered for her tireless advocacy and her commitment to sharing her story with younger generations.
