Police investigators have concluded that there are no grounds to reopen the 'Party Games' sex crimes investigation involving Israeli singer Eyal Golan. The team informed Major General Boaz Balat, head of the Investigations and Intelligence Division, that no new evidence has emerged that would justify further investigative steps in the case, which had previously been closed.
The decision follows an earlier directive to freeze investigative actions related to the affair. Investigators stated that there is currently no legal or factual basis to resume proceedings against Golan and are expected to notify the State Attorney's Office that no additional action is required. A final decision is anticipated soon.
At the same time, police are continuing to examine a separate sexual misconduct complaint known as the 'Beautician' case. The complainant and a private investigator are expected to be questioned again, though assessments indicate that this case is also likely to be closed after the review is completed.
